A Calm, Baby-Led Experience
There’s no rushing a newborn session. With our 3-hour newborn sessions, time is built in for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and cuddling. If baby needs a break, we take one. A relaxed baby means a relaxed session, and that’s when the sweetest images happen.

During your session, you can expect a relaxed experience focused on capturing your baby’s sweet features, little expressions, and the connection between your family. Parent and sibling images are always encouraged and become some of the most meaningful photographs from this stage.
Safety Is Always the Priority
Our team is professionally trained in newborn handling and safety, and we’ve had the honor of photographing over 400 newborns. That experience allows us to confidently read baby cues, handle transitions gently, and know when to move forward or when baby needs a pause.
Poses are always soft, natural, and done with careful attention to your baby’s flexibility, circulation, and overall comfort. If a baby resists a pose or seems unsettled, we never force it – we simply adjust or move on. Every session is completely baby-led and tailored to what your little one is happiest doing that day.
Cleanliness is also a top priority in our studio. We wash and sanitize our hands before handling baby and wear masks during close contact to help create a safe environment for these brand-new immune systems. All wraps, fabrics, and surfaces are cleaned and prepared with newborn safety in mind.

Parent & Family Photos Are Encouraged
Some of the most meaningful images from a newborn session are the ones that include you: parents, siblings, and even grandparents. These early days are fleeting, and the way your baby fits in your arms, the gentle touches, and the quiet moments of connection are memories you’ll treasure forever. Including family in the session allows us to capture not just what your baby looks like, but how your family interacts and bonds during this precious stage.
Even if you feel tired or overwhelmed, your presence in the images adds layers of love and emotion that make each photograph truly special. Poses are always simple and natural, designed to highlight your bond without feeling stiff or forced. Whether it’s holding your baby, a gentle forehead touch, or snuggling with siblings, these are the images that will make you smile years from now and remember exactly how tiny your baby once was.
We’ll guide you through gentle, comfortable positioning and lighting so that every family photo feels effortless and relaxed. Our goal is to create a calm, stress-free environment where your family can simply be together, and the images reflect genuine love and connection, not posed perfection.

Scheduled at the Optimal Time

Newborn photo sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 5–14 days of life, as this is the most optimal timeframe for capturing those classic, curled poses and peaceful, natural expressions. Babies in these early days are generally sleepier and more flexible, which makes posed newborn photography easier and more comfortable. After two weeks, babies begin to stretch, become more alert, and may be less cooperative with certain poses. While we can do newborn styled shoots up to around 6 weeks old, poses may be modified, and we are more likely to capture awake, alert expressions rather than deep-sleep poses.
We intentionally limit the number of newborn sessions each month to allow for flexible scheduling and ensure each session has ample time for feedings, soothing, and breaks. Because we only take a small number of newborn photo sessions each month, we strongly recommend booking during your second or third trimester to secure your spot on our calendar. Last-minute inquiries are often difficult to accommodate, and we have had to turn away clients due to limited availability.
Booking early also allows for flexible payment options, as we offer payment plans and the ability to split payments into smaller increments when you reserve your newborn session in advance. Planning ahead ensures a stress-free experience and gives your baby the time and care needed for a beautiful, timeless newborn photography session.
All Props and Outfits Are Provided
Our newborn photography studio is fully stocked with everything needed for a beautifully styled newborn photo session. We provide hundreds of wraps, blankets, headbands, hats, outfits, backdrops, and a wide variety of newborn photography props to create different looks and setups. There’s no need to shop or overpack — styling for your baby’s session is completely taken care of. Simply bring your baby, yourself, and any meaningful or sentimental items you’d like included in your newborn portraits.
While we recommend bringing your diaper bag with your usual baby essentials, our photo studio is also prepared with backup supplies such as extra blankets, baby wipes, a changing pad, and other newborn care items. Everything is cleaned, organized, and ready before your session begins, helping your professional newborn photography experience feel smooth, comfortable, and stress-free from start to finish.
